Group travel is where friendships fray.
Not over the trip — over the planning. Who decided what. Who paid for what. Who is actually coming. One person ends up carrying the whole thing, and everyone else ends up feeling like a passenger.
Truce exists because the tools people actually use for this — a group chat and somebody's notes app — cannot hold a decision. A chat has no state. It has opinions scrolling past each other, and no way to tell the difference between a plan and a suggestion.
So we built the opposite: options on the table, a deadline on the clock, and a number next to every name. The group nominates. The group votes. The window closes and the winner is the winner — not because the organiser said so, but because that is what the votes said. The money follows the same rule: whoever paid is on record, everything nets down pairwise, and nobody has to be the one who chases it.
A trip that planned itself fairly is the whole goal. Decisions feel settled and transparent. No single person is the bottleneck. Money is square. The group spent its energy on the trip instead of the logistics.

Reduce the drama, not the detail
Every screen exists to take friction out of a shared decision. We will happily show you more information if it helps the group settle something fairly. We will not add a feature that creates more coordination than it removes.

Instrument, don’t decorate
The app reports live status on a journey you are steering together. A readout beats a label. Density beats ornament. If a flourish does not tell the group something true, it is not in the build.

Confident, never cute
Trust comes from looking like the app knows what it is doing. The entire category defaults to pastel and rounded and friendly-to-a-fault. Warmth belongs in the writing, not in softened edges.

Shared truth, in real time
Everyone sees the same votes and the same balances at the same moment. That is what stops one person becoming the bottleneck, and the arbiter.

Familiar for the task, distinct in the frame
Standard controls for standard jobs, so the tool disappears into the work. The character lives in the chrome and the voice, not in reinventing a date picker.
